Above: A Ring Floodlight Cam Pro, like most floodlight cameras, is designed for wall mounting. Installing the camera directly on the soffits will limit your ability to aim it correctly. You have a few options:

	Use a Vertical Extender Junction Box Extenders for Soffits will drop our soffit mounts 4", 6", and 8".
	Use a 1-piece Extended Soffit Mount Some of our soffit mounts are available in a 14-inch version. Extended camera mounts have a full-length metal bracket for maximum support.
