Installing Floodlight Cameras when Downspouts are in the way

Get the perfect camera angle and lighting position, even in tricky spaces. Say goodbye to awkward installations and limited placement options. Our junction box extenders are the ultimate solution for mounting floodlight cameras when a pesky downspout is in the way.

Above: A Ring Floodlight Cam Pro, like most floodlight cameras, is designed for wall mounting. Installing the camera directly on the soffits will limit your ability to aim it correctly. You have a few options:

Downspout Extension for Soffits

Use a Vertical Extender

Junction Box Extenders for Soffits will drop our soffit mounts 4", 6", and 8".

Dropping the camera 14" provides better view.

Use a 1-piece Extended Soffit Mount

Some of our soffit mounts are available in a 14-inch version. Extended camera mounts have a full-length metal bracket for maximum support.

Use a Horizontal Extender

Junction Box Extenders for Walls can be used with our Floodlight Sofiit mounts to reposition the camera exactly where you want it.
