Dual Wall and Soffit Mounts for Security Cameras

A dual mount puts two device openings on a single junction box, so two cameras can watch two directions from one mounting point and one wiring run.

How far apart the openings sit

The separation between the two openings is fixed by the mount body, so pick the model that matches the directions you need to watch:

• 90° apart — the universal 60° and 90° dual soffit mounts. These let you aim compatible cameras across two adjacent sides of your property from one point, prioritizing the driveway, side yard, or corner rather than the typically obstructed area directly behind the fixtures.
• 180° apart — the slim 90° dual soffit mounts, and the eve Outdoor Cam dual mount. These face two opposite directions, which suits a mid-wall or mid-soffit position with something to watch on either side.
• 45° apart — the Dual Mount for UniFi G-Series cameras, which presents two G Turret interfaces.

Actual coverage depends on the cameras' field of view and final aim.

Specifications

Soffit and wall models present a 127 mm (5 in) mounting base and 127 mm (5 in) round device openings. Slim models add a drop length — 177.8 mm (7 in) or 355.6 mm (14 in). Dual mounts typically include one crossbar hardware set, one round weatherproof gasket, four thread-forming screws, extension wires, and a terminal block; the 45° dual wall mount does not include wires or a terminal block.
