Dual Wall and Soffit Mounts for Security Cameras

Running power to a second camera is the expensive part. A dual mount avoids it — two cameras fed from one junction box.

The number in the name is the angle off the mounting surface, not the spread between the cameras. Most of these set the two cameras 90° apart, enough to cover a front and a side from one spot.

On a wall? The 45° tilts both cameras out from the wall.

Under a soffit? 90° is the usual choice. Go to 60° when you want more of the house wall in frame.

Covering a straight run? The slim dual and the eve dual face the cameras 180° apart — opposite directions along a wall.
