Wasn’t sure if I would be able to use it the way I I needed too but it worked perfectly!
Printing was extremely poor quality. I was told that they recently switched filament and there is nothing they can do to prevent it from looking extremely defective. Beware if buying at this time. I would not put this on my house. Customer service is just as poor.
We’re sorry to hear about your experience. You are absolutely right—those parts are not acceptable, and we should have caught the issue before they were shipped.
We’ve recently encountered quality issues with a small number of filament batches that can create surface artifacts like the ones you received. While that explains what happened, it does not excuse the fact that the product did not meet our standards.
Unfortunately, I was traveling when your message came in and wasn’t able to fully evaluate the situation until I returned. After reviewing the photos, I agree that the prints should not have been sent out. Yours had more than just artifacts. Sorry about that.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as it helps us identify and address quality-control issues more quickly. We are reviewing our processes to prevent similar parts from reaching customers in the future.
Thank you for your feedback, and again, we apologize for the disappointment.
It was exactly what I needed for a soffit mounted Ring Floodlight Camera
Received the item on time but I received one that had issues during printing and has a physical defect.
Hi Aqil,
While some blemishes are acceptable as the item is 3D printed, this one is not. We must have overlooked that during unloading. I will be happy to ship you a replacement. Let me know if you still need it.
Thank you, thank you thank you. I tried all kinds of “gerry rigging” to mount my new Ring Spotlight cam 4K camera under the eaves of my house, replacing an existing floodlight. Finally has stumbled across this website and ordered the 90° slim mount and It fits perfectly!
I bought 4 of these to cover incandescent ceramic bulb fixtures in my garage which I had replaced with single gang outlets for new brighter lighting. The results were perfect and I am very pleased with the product.
For an exterior light post at our patio kitchen area, the waterproof box for a light is designed to be located inside a wall and not mounted atop a post. The junction box was used to cover or provide a nice finished look to the electrical box. It looks great! There is no product available to this use - been in property management for over 50 years.
My second order for a Ring stick-up cam - very happy with the product and customer service. Can highly recommend!
Thanks for the review and nice pictures!
I used this product to cover an outdoor box for a RING wired floodlight! Since it flares out it fits the RING mount perfectly! This is a must have for anyone mounting a RING flood camera and the box is not recessed. Also, seller was messaging me before I bought answering my question regarding measurements and materials! Would absolutely do business with this seller again!!!
Great product! Fits perfectly and works perfectly! Super strong and well made. Just what I needed. GREAT customer service and responsiveness! Would buy again 100%. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I bought this E340 Floodlight extension as I have smaller than normal junction boxes under vinyl soffits that are also somewhat recessed 1/2 to 1 inch. The cameras were too close to the soffit that prevented the lights from moving freely and glare at night reflected off the soffit making things hard to see. Also the floodlight cameras were either crooked or not supported correctly by my junction boxes, so I bought these extensions to hopefully fix the problem. They pretty much did in the end.
By purchasing this extension, you receive a solid piece of white 3D round pipe-like support that matches the color of the E340 cameras. It is well made and nicely supports the camera. For those who don't use the metric system (those of us in the US), 100 mm is about 4 inches, 150 mm is 6 inches, and 200 mm is 8 inches. I would have liked a 50 mm or 2 inch option since it would have been a better look and fit for my camera placement, but the 100 mm worked nicely.
The extension comes with a support bar that is similar to what you get with interior lights, which is why I bought it. It allows various spacing of support screws with a junction box and my smaller box was easy to connect. There is a round metal bar that goes up the middle of the extension and connects it to the bar with nuts on each end. You get a foam gasket to seal between the extension and the junction box. There is also some additional stranded wires (one black, white, and green) you can use to extend the wiring through the extension. I wish the wires had been about 1 to 2 inches longer so I could put them through the center bar and make it look nice and neat. Two wire connectors with 3 screws each were supplied to connect between the camera and the wire extensions. I ended up using WAGO connectors instead (they are much easier to work with connecting solid and stranded wiring).
There are only two small cons I have with this product. You are supposed to get 2 self-tapping screws with each extension in order to properly screw the camera to it. I received zero screws with the 2 extensions I ordered. Support was quick and responded that they had some new help that apparently forgot to include them. The screws needed are cheap and I already had them on hand. But for the price of these things, I expected all the parts to be included. Also, a green ground screw was not included. Support told me it was not needed due to the nature of the plastic 3D model, but I still connected one to be safe (and their pictures show the green ground screen with the bar). The support bar is made of metal, so I took no chances.
Overall, the extensions did improve the look of the floodlight camera and made the install much easier to do on my weird junction boxes with weak vinyl soffits. If I ever change the cameras to something else, these extensions look like they would work better for other lights/cameras since they create a standard 4 inch junction box on the bottom. I just hope they last a long time with weather fluctuations (and by not yellowing with sunlight). Only time will tell.
My old floodlight was installed under an eave, however I wanted to install a ring floodlight camera with a vertical orientation. This product works great and was the best-looking solution I could find!
The item articed quickly and was the perfect solution to installing my Ring Spotlight Camera without drilling into my dutchlap vinyl siding. Thank you!!
So happy I ran into this product - just what we needed to install our battery stick up Ring camera on the side of the house (Dutch Lap siding). Feels like it's really secure and yet will be easy to adjust and change the battery out. Shipping was really quick! Can highly recommend!
Needed a special modification. They quickly confirmed they can produce what I needed! Its perfect!
Thanks very much!
Awesome solution for mounting the camera. I wish the lock washer was stuck to the nut for the bottom. But a little double stick tape solved it.
1st rate seller-- highly, highly recommended. Patiently, politely helped me figure out what I needed. It arrived quickly, well-wrapped and in perfect condition. Planning more purchases. THANK YOU
These mounts work great! There was a minor hiccup with my order (not sure if the issue was on my end or not) and the customer service provided to resolve the issue was excellent.
Highly recommend.
Recently decided to install the Ring Floodlight Cam Pro at an eave above our deck. One problem though, I have an Sunsetter awning above the doors out of the house and the metal cover over the awning was out to far to allow a good angle on the motion sensor. One extension later problem solved. What a great idea by Alexactly ! Well made, plenty thick on the extension and flanges, included mounting hardware and some short pieces of wire to extend the existing if needed. Couldn’t have been happier to find this item and have it turn out so well.
