📹 Camera Compatibility
The included round mounting plate supports:
- Currently sold Ring battery cameras that use the current four-hole backing plate
- Older Ring Stick Up Cam models that use the smaller two-hole backing plate
Compatible camera families include Ring Outdoor Cam (formerly Stick Up Cam) and Ring Spotlight Cam battery models that use either supported mounting pattern.
🏠 Choose Your Siding Profile
- Dutch Lap: For vinyl siding with a curved notch that creates a stepped or shadowed profile.
- Traditional: For flat, overlapping vinyl siding without the curved Dutch lap notch.
- Plank: Tested on HardiePlank fiber-cement lap siding. On wood lap siding, the clip may not hold securely if boards are warped or don't have a clearly defined inner edge. This clip is longer than the vinyl versions.
Review the siding cross-section images before ordering. Similar-looking siding can require different clips, and the three profile-specific versions are not interchangeable.

🛠️ Installation
- Slide the siding clip onto the included round mounting plate and secure it with the supplied screws.
- Attach the Ring camera backing plate using the matching two-hole or four-hole pattern.
- Insert the assembled clip beneath the appropriate siding edge, then gently pull down to seat it.
- Attach and adjust the camera according to Ring's instructions.
